When it comes to starting a successful Tumblr blog, a solid theme can be important because it becomes a major part of the branding and appearance of your site.

While the free themes on Tumblr’s ‘Theme Garden’ are fine, they often don’t offer the beautiful layout and added functionality of premium themes (things like analytics, comments, and additional customization).

The unfortunate thing is, all of the premium themes available on Tumblr itself typically go for $49!
