This is due to the fact that as I publish new posts, it’s hard to access the older one’s if you don’t know where they are located. That gets solved today, as you can now access ALL of my previous Tumblr tips articles!
I’ve written a lot of Tumblr tutorials in my time at this site, and yet they’ve become increasingly hard to find on-site because there are now so many articles to read!
I thought I’d make things easy by doing a big collection of all of my Tumblr tutorial articles and “how-to’s” and compile them into one easily accessible post.
So… let’s do this!
When it comes to starting a successful Tumblr blog, a solid theme can be important because it becomes a major part of the branding and appearance of your site.
While the free themes on Tumblr’s ‘Theme Garden’ are fine, they often don’t offer the beautiful layout and added functionality of premium themes (things like analytics, comments, and additional customization).
The unfortunate thing is, all of the premium themes available on Tumblr itself typically go for $49!
That’s a lot to pay for a single theme, especially when WordPress themes can come even cheaper than that (something I covered in my Tumblr vs WordPress debate).
Luckily, I’ve got you covered: I’ve compliled the biggest list EVER of available premium Tumblr themes outside of Tumblr’s ‘Theme Garden’, and the list will grow with new additions when they are released!

Recently, Tumblr has unveiled it’s first plans (outside of the Tumblr Theme Garden) on how the company will make money from the platform.
It introduced on the Staff blog a new featured called “highlighted posts” which will apparently cost $1 to create, and can be made by anybody.
